Custom Inbound Domains Are Now Self-Service
Custom inbound domains are now available directly from the personal and team mailbox settings pages for paid plans.
What this enables
You can use your own domain or subdomain and send messages to realistic addresses such as orders@example.com or support@test.example.com. Messages sent to the domain are routed to the mailbox you select.
This is useful for testing signup emails, order notifications, password resets, inbound support workflows, and other production-like email journeys.
How to set it up
Open the settings page for the personal or team mailbox that should receive the messages and enter the domain in Custom inbound domain. Then add an MX record for that domain pointing to smtp.imitate.email.
After DNS has propagated, send an email to any address at the domain and it will appear in the selected mailbox. Use a different domain or subdomain for each mailbox when configuring multiple personal or team mailboxes. The domain can be changed at any time; clear the field to remove it.
See the custom inbound domain documentation for the complete setup instructions.
